Jobzyn Is Bringing AI and Transparency to Morocco’s Recruitment Market

Hundreds of applications. Hours spent screening CVs. Candidates waiting for answers.

Moroccan entrepreneur Simo Zizi believes artificial intelligence can make recruitment faster — while helping jobseekers understand the companies they want to join.

His Casablanca-based startup, Jobzyn, is developing technology designed to connect employers with suitable candidates through AI-assisted recruitment and more transparent job listings.

Founded in 2023 by Simo Zizi and Abdelbassite Badou, the company combines candidate screening tools with employee testimonials, videos featuring hiring managers and detailed information about employers.

The objective is to address a challenge familiar to both sides of the recruitment process.

Companies need to identify relevant candidates efficiently.

Jobseekers want to understand the people, expectations and working environment behind an advertised position.

Jobzyn is attempting to improve both experiences.

Using AI To Make Recruitment More Efficient

Jobzyn uses artificial intelligence to support application screening, skills assessment and candidate shortlisting.

The platform also offers tools intended to help recruiters identify applicants whose qualifications match specific roles.

Through its AI headhunting service, the company says it can provide shortlists of qualified candidates in fewer than ten days.

That performance claim has not been independently verified by Morocco Times Daily.

The technology is intended to reduce repetitive administrative work and allow recruiters to spend more time evaluating candidates.

But speed alone does not determine recruitment quality.

Employers still need to assess applicants fairly, protect personal information and retain appropriate human oversight.

For Jobzyn, the longer-term test will be whether its tools improve hiring outcomes as well as processing times.

Showing Candidates The People Behind The Company

One of Jobzyn's distinguishing features is its emphasis on employer transparency.

The platform allows companies to present their teams, workplace culture and available positions through videos, employee testimonials and detailed job descriptions.

That gives candidates information beyond the requirements normally found in a conventional job advertisement.

For Zizi, this approach reflects a personal experience.

After spending several years working in Paris, he has described the uncertainty he faced when considering a professional return to Morocco.

Understanding potential employers, working conditions and career opportunities from abroad was not always straightforward.

Jobzyn's model aims to make some of that information easier to access before candidates apply.

Investment And International Ambitions

In September 2025, Jobzyn announced an undisclosed pre-seed funding round led by Janngo Capital, with participation from Digital Africa and other investors.

The investment was intended to support product development and expansion into additional African and Middle Eastern markets.

At the time, the company identified organisations including Deloitte, PwC, Glovo, Maroc Telecom, Intelcia, Inwi and TGCC among its clients.

These relationships were reported by Jobzyn and do not establish the current status or scale of each commercial arrangement.

The funding demonstrated investor interest in the company's recruitment technology, although the amount raised was not publicly disclosed.

Its future growth will depend on attracting and retaining employers while delivering measurable recruitment results.

Connecting ISCAE Graduates With Employers

Jobzyn has also extended its technology into higher education.

In 2026, the company announced a strategic partnership with Groupe ISCAE, one of Morocco's established business education institutions.

The collaboration aims to digitalise career services for students and graduates by centralising internship and employment opportunities.

It also seeks to strengthen connections between candidates and employers through recruitment and application-management tools.

For students, the initiative could simplify access to professional opportunities.

For participating employers, it offers another channel to identify candidates with relevant qualifications.

The partnership illustrates how recruitment technology can support the transition from education into employment.

The Next Test Is Trust

Artificial intelligence is becoming increasingly common in recruitment, but its use raises questions about fairness, transparency and accountability.

Automated screening can reduce administrative workloads, yet its effectiveness depends on the quality of the information and criteria used.

Employers must also consider potential algorithmic bias, data protection and the importance of human judgement.

For Jobzyn, building trust will be essential as its technology develops.

The company will need to demonstrate that its tools support effective hiring decisions while providing a positive experience for candidates.

That challenge matters as much as the speed of recruitment itself.

A Moroccan Startup With A Regional Ambition

Jobzyn is part of a generation of Moroccan technology companies developing services around the needs of businesses and professionals.

Its approach combines artificial intelligence, recruitment software and employer transparency.

For Zizi and Badou, the ambition is to make recruitment more efficient while giving candidates clearer information about potential workplaces.

The company has attracted investment, developed relationships with employers and introduced its technology into higher education.

Its next phase will depend on translating those developments into sustainable growth and demonstrable results.

Jobzyn is betting that the future of hiring in Morocco will not simply be about finding candidates faster — but helping companies and candidates make better decisions.
